Suman Rao, a Rajsamand resident, Rajasthan was crowned last night by Miss India 2019. The winner from Tamil Nadu last year, Anukreethy Vas, crowned her successor, Suman, at an emotional moment.
On November 23, 1999, the 20-year-old model was born. Suman also has under her belt the title of Miss India Rajasthan 2019. And the magnificent model is all set to represent India in the coveted 2019 Miss World to be held in the month of December 2019 in Pattaya, Bangkok.
Although Suman was born in Rajasthan, she resided in Mumbai for the most part of her life. She has for some moment transformed her enthusiasm for modeling into survival and now has to attain greater dreams. “When you get yourself determined towards a particular goal in life, every single nerve and fiber of your body starts working into that direction for a victorious journey,” she said in an interview to ANI.
The model has proclaimed her love of dance as her passion over and over again and is also studying the form of classical dance, Kathak. She counts modeling as her greatest passion, though.
Suman also discussed how heavily she feels about gender inequality and the stereotypes we encounter in the globe during a pageant. Speaking of the society she came from, she said in the same pageant, “I come from a society where gender inequality and other stereotypes still exist, so I chose the latter one when I saw two main decisions before me, either to accept the circumstances that existed or to take the obligation to change them.”Suman has become the 56th Miss India.
She’s just bagged the top place on India’s most coveted beauty pageant, Fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2019 and Suman Rao has already become a sensation of Instagram. The Rajasthan bred beauty is not only a pretty looking face but also a style diva, who’s won the hearts of people already.
While Miss India was won by Suman, Chhattisgarh’s Shivani Jadhav was crowned as Femina Miss Grand India 2019 and Bihar’s Shreya Shanker won the 2019 Miss India United Continents title. The event was a great outing as a whole. During the sub-competitions for Miss India 2019, the beauty also bagged the ‘ Miss Rampwalk ‘ prize.
